Terms of Service

Welcome to Sejal Learn. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Sejal Learning Systems (“Sejal Learn,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the sejal-learn.com website, our courses, programs, memberships, certificates, AI learning companion, and related services (together, the “Services”). Please read them carefully — by creating an account, enrolling in a course, purchasing a membership, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

Our mission is simple: help you grow your career and grow yourself. These rules exist to keep the platform safe, fair, and useful for every learner. Details about how we handle your personal data are in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

1. Accounts

You need an account for most activities on Sejal Learn, including enrolling in courses and earning certificates. When you create an account, provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your password secure and don't share your credentials or let anyone else access your account. If you suspect someone else is using your account, tell us immediately at info@sejal-learn.com.

The Services are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account and make purchases. Learners under 18 may use Sejal Learn only under the account and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms. If you're looking for accredited K-12 learning, visit our sister academy, The VR School, which is designed for younger students.

You may not transfer or sell your account, and you may not create an account using someone else's identity. We may reclaim usernames or close accounts that are inactive, impersonate others, or violate these Terms.

2. Enrollment & Access to Content

When you enroll in a course or program, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view that content through the Services, for your personal, non-commercial use only. Everything else is reserved: you may not resell, share, redistribute, publicly perform, or make course content available to anyone else, and you may not download content except where we provide an explicit download feature.

How long you keep access depends on how you obtained it: content included with a membership is available while your membership is active; programs you purchase individually remain available for as long as we continue to offer them on the platform. We may need to remove or replace specific content for legal, licensing, or quality reasons — where a program you purchased is discontinued, we will make reasonable efforts to offer you comparable content or a credit.

We may revoke access to content or the Services if you violate these Terms, including sharing your account or redistributing course materials.

3. Memberships, Payments & Refunds

3.1 Pricing

Prices for memberships and individual programs are shown at checkout and may change from time to time. Changes apply prospectively — a price change never retroactively affects what you already paid, and we will notify you before a change affects an active subscription renewal. Prices may not include applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout based on your location.

3.2 Memberships & Billing

Sejal Learn offers a free Explorer tier and paid monthly memberships (currently Professional and All Access). Paid memberships renew automatically each month and your payment method is charged at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle, and you keep access until then. We don't provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid membership at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends. We'll tell you the trial length and the price you'll be charged when you sign up.

3.3 One-Time Program Purchases

Some programs can be purchased individually for a one-time fee. These purchases are tied to your account and can't be transferred or shared.

3.4 Refunds

If a one-time program purchase isn't what you expected, contact us within 30 days of purchase and we'll issue a refund to your original payment method. We reserve the right to decline refunds where we see abuse of this policy — for example, when a large portion of the program has been consumed, certificates have been issued, or an account shows a pattern of purchase-and-refund behavior. Membership fees are not refundable except as described in Section 3.2 or where required by law.

4. Content & Behavior Rules

You may use Sejal Learn only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. When using the Services — including reviews, discussions, assignments, and the AI learning companion — you agree that you will not:

• share your account or make course content available to people who haven't enrolled;
• copy, scrape, or harvest content, data, or personal information from the Services, whether manually or with automated tools;
• reverse-engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Services, or attempt to access them by any means other than the interfaces we provide;
• upload or submit anything unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or malicious (including viruses or other harmful code);
• misrepresent your identity or your completion of coursework, or engage in any form of cheating on assessments;
• use the Services to send spam or unauthorized advertising.

We may investigate reported violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including removing content, issuing warnings, withholding certificates earned through misconduct, and suspending or terminating accounts.

5. Content You Submit

The Services may let you post or submit content — course reviews, questions, discussion posts, assignment submissions, and messages to the AI learning companion (“Your Content”). You keep ownership of Your Content. So that we can operate the Services, you grant Sejal Learn a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute Your Content in connection with providing, promoting, and improving the Services. You can end most of this license by deleting the relevant content, except to the extent it was already shared with others as part of the Services or we need to keep copies for legal purposes.

You are responsible for Your Content. By submitting it you represent that you have all necessary rights to it and that it doesn't violate the law or anyone else's rights. We may remove any of Your Content at our discretion, including content we believe violates these Terms.

6. Our Intellectual Property

The Services and all content we provide — including courses, lesson materials, assessments, certificates, graphics, logos, software, and the platform itself — are owned by Sejal Learning Systems or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Many of our courses are built on educational materials licensed from world-class publishers, including John Wiley & Sons; those materials remain the property of their respective owners. Except for the limited access license in Section 2, nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Services or our content. “Sejal Learn,” “Sejal Learning Systems,” and our logos are trademarks of Sejal Learning Systems and may not be used without our written permission.

7. AI Learning Companion

Sejal Learn includes AI-powered features, such as an AI learning companion that can answer questions, give feedback on your work, and guide you through course material (the “AI Features”).

7.1 Inputs and Outputs

You can provide prompts, questions, and coursework to the AI Features (“Inputs”) and receive generated responses (“Outputs”). As between you and us, you own your Inputs, and you may use the Outputs you receive for your personal learning. Inputs and Outputs are processed as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your conversations with the AI Features to train third-party foundation models.

7.2 Restrictions

You may not use the AI Features to generate content that violates Section 4, attempt to extract the underlying models or system prompts, use Outputs to build a competing service, or represent Outputs as human-created professional advice.

7.3 AI Disclaimers

Outputs are generated by machine learning systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. They are provided for educational purposes only and are not professional, legal, medical, financial, or exam-board advice. Verify important information independently before relying on it. AI Features may be modified, rate-limited, or discontinued at any time.

8. Certificates & Learning Records

When you complete a qualifying course or program, we may issue a certificate of completion that you can share, for example on your résumé or LinkedIn. Certificates confirm that you completed the relevant coursework on Sejal Learn. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they are not accredited degrees, academic credit, continuing-education units, or professional licenses, and we make no promise that any employer, institution, or licensing body will recognize them.

To power your progress tracking, certificates, and course recommendations, the platform records your learning activity (such as lessons completed and assessment results) in our learning record store. See the Privacy Policy for details on how these records are handled.

9. Using Sejal Learn at Your Own Risk

Learning outcomes depend on you. We don't guarantee that any course will produce a particular result — a job, a promotion, a passing exam score, or otherwise. Course content is provided for educational purposes; where courses touch on regulated topics (health, finance, law), they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites and services we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

10. Sejal Learn's Rights

We own and operate the platform, and we may modify, update, or discontinue any part of the Services — including features, courses, memberships, and pricing — at any time. Where a change materially reduces an active paid membership, we'll notify you in advance so you can decide whether to continue. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if your use poses a risk to the platform or other learners. You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time.

11. Miscellaneous Legal Terms

11.1 Binding Agreement & Severability

These Terms (together with the policies they incorporate) are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

11.2 Disclaimers

The Services and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Some jurisdictions don't allow these disclaimers, so they may not fully apply to you.

11.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sejal Learning Systems will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, data, or goodwill) arising from your use of the Services, and our total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose and (b) US $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

11.4 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sejal Learning Systems and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, demands, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or of any third-party right.

11.5 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where the Dispute Resolution section below doesn't apply, you and we consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Missouri.

11.6 Notices; Relationship; Assignment

We may send you notices by email or through the Services; legal notices to us should go to the contact in Section 14. These Terms don't create any partnership, employment, or agency relationship between you and us. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

12. Dispute Resolution

Summary: talk to us first — most issues are resolved quickly and informally. If we can't fix it, disputes are resolved in small claims court or by binding individual arbitration, not class actions.

12.1 Informal Resolution First

Before filing a claim, contact us at info@sejal-learn.com with a description of the dispute and your desired resolution. You and we agree to try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days before starting any formal proceeding.

12.2 Small Claims or Arbitration

If we can't resolve a dispute informally, either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, or the dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will be conducted in English, and any in-person proceedings will take place in a mutually convenient location or by videoconference. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

12.3 No Class Actions

You and Sejal Learn each agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in court for infringement or misuse of intellectual property.

12.4 Opt-Out

You may opt out of the arbitration and class-waiver provisions above by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” and your account email. Opting out doesn't affect any other part of these Terms.

13. Updating These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, our business, or the law. When we make a material change, we'll notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the site before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms; if you don't agree, stop using the Services and, if applicable, cancel your membership before the change takes effect.
